John Deere Classic

This past weekend, Josh and I traveled to my mom's to visit her and to go to the John Deere Classic with her, and my grandma and grandpa, on Saturday. For anyone that isn't from around here, the John Deere Classic the a PGA golf tournament in the quad cities area. Of course, everyone was worried about me in the heat, walking, etc 8 (almost 9) months prego! I think I did pretty darn good! We got there at 10 AM and lasted until just after 5 PM. My feet and back were hurting by the end of the day, but all in all it wasn't that bad. I felt worse Sunday than I did Saturday-my muscles were sore and I was worn out, you would have thought I just ran a marathon!

 

 

I wish I had a picture with my mom and Grandma and Grandpa-the 5 of us went together, but I am so bad at remembering to take pictures, plus you have to be careful where you are snapping pictures at a golf tournament.

All I ended up with was this picture of Josh and I, which I remembered to take early in the day.

 



 

My grandma bought us this cute golf ball as a souvenir for Bennett's room! I didn't even think to buy him anything until she saw some other kids walking around with these balls. Then we made it our mission to get autographs to put on it. Unfortunately, we were blown off 3 times by Zach Johnson-and to say the least he isn't exactly my favorite guy in the world after that.  But we did get some good ones! Some of the autographs we got were:

To be completely honest, I don't even know who half these people are, but I thought it was a fun idea for an item to put in his golf themed nursery!
